fail.

this was defiantly a pinterest fail!

but too good not to share.

they have the sweetest picture of a mom with her toddler and tummy.

well i got this one.

and this is the only somewhat normal one hahaha.

like i thought it was realistic to get my child to actually hold still for a photo.

nursery.

how did my baby get so big!

avery turned 18 months a few weeks ago.

and can now go to nursery.

 we were very ready for it.

avery is so busy, church is becoming quite comical.

but is he not the sweetest :)

midvale.

i feel like i have been building this up a lot the last few blog post.

it was a pretty big deal.

we bought our first home.

which actually is two houses.

we have been looking at the duplex market forever.

and finally found this 100 year old gem.

literally.

our house was built in 1906. 

and the back house which i have yet to take a picture of was built in 1936.

so with charm comes corks.

but it's just been fun.

were getting closer to unpacked.

feeling settled.

and learning lots about the area.

the zoo.

 we did our yearly zoo trip in september.

avery had a good time.

he's just starting to learn about animals. 

and was much more involved than last year.

 my cutie pie.

 we may have been a little worried about this lion though.

 loves all hats.

 my people :)

 the the polar bear happened.

avery was so excited to see him.

i don't know why him in particular.

but he got very into it!

it was cute.

 he politely worked his way back over.

and just kept watching. 

 drew captured some awesome pictures of the cheeta.

which i clearly can't spell.

 and then we took avery to pick a souvenir with my mama.

haha i was trying to get him to choose one.

but he loved them both.

thank you grandma and grandpa!

provo.

provo has been our home for most of our married life!

drew finished up school in april.

started his job in june.

and we finally moved in august.

we lived in this cute little house for three years.

started our family here.

you could say is has some memories.

but life carries on and we decided to buy a house.

and be closer to drew's work.

so we packed up and headed up north.

where we then stayed for 3 weeks in kaysville during transition. 

what an adventure.

camping.

 again utah is so pretty.

our next adventure was with some of our kaysville friends.

to lava hot springs.

 haha i know this is fuzzy, but i thought it was so funny.

drew got a new hammock.

and avery likes it.

maybe even juliette.

 we spent the night.

and the next day went swimming!

summer shenanigans.

 i am well aware summer is now over.

but man have we had a busy few months!

we bought a house, that's pretty exciting :)

but more about that later, i wanted to play catch up on summer.

one day me and drew went up the canyon.

so beautiful.

 i'm not even certain how far along i was there.

none the less i cannon fit into those cloths anymore haha.

 me and my babies:)

 avery loves outside.

 then later on we had a fire with some of our friends.

 remi and treg.

 sandy boy.

 also brooks and avery LOVE longboards.

and each other, it's pretty cute.

brooks started calling avery "ay-ya"

and well now that's what they call each other.

 also we may have dumped dirt all over our hair.

oh summer nights we're gonna miss you.
