nativity.

 so we had our first family christmas celebration!

at the cabin, it was magical.

 it's just so pretty up there.

 we started with some painting.

especially for the lack of real snow.

 the kids got some antlers.

i'm not sure how the babies felt about them haha.

 drew and aspen got fancy with a nativity.

 then we took the baby to see his first snow.

which he then proceeded to eat.

 

 the boys built a snowman.

this time he was real.

and look at the beautiful mountains.

 then we started on our tree craft.

who so diligantly worked to make lights. 

it was pretty cute.

 then we started the nativity. 

it was fun with so many cousins. 

great grandpa gordon played the harmonica.

 aspen, henry and ethan.

avery was a little lamb.

 drew watched the three little wise men/women.

all the kids, impossible to get a great picture. 

but i thought it was beautiful.

i loved sharing this part of christmas.

 then avery was just being cute as ever.

 thinking he is so big.

 and the night ended with a christmas movie and some popcorn :]
