amy.

off to park city!
so my amy is getting married in less then two weeks.
me and drew arrived home a few days ago,
and shortly after me and the women were ready
 for some bachelorette time :]
were missing a few of our ladies, kristi and cait!
we went shopping and had dinner.
danced around in our robes a lot of the night :]
went hot tubing on our deck.
ate lots of candy and ice cream.
went real dancing.
and attempted to watch a movie.
all of us lasted no more then 20 min.
it was a great weekend.
and im just so excited for amy to be married!!

dakota.

 fourth stop south dakota.
we started the day by meeting drew's grandparents.
who died before he was even born.
he was in the navy like drew's daddy.
it was a really neat place to be.
and wifees name was on the back :]

then we headed off to mount rushmore.
where i might add was a jackpot of license plates.
we obtained 46 out of the 50 all together!
we had a cute little couple take a picture of us.
guess where they were from.. utah!
haha and then we typed our last destination in our gps being home!
we were very excited to say the least.
oh but we did make one more stop.
i had to jump over a hay bell :]
also it was SO windy.
that's why my hair looks so good.
oh and gilbert wanted to ware drew's hat.

canada.

 third stop canada!
so me and drew both have canadian pride.
we both lived in different parts, but any part we were excited to see.
so first we went up to niagara falls.
this time i got to see the american side.
then we drove into toronto which is where i lived!
literally down the street :]
we stayed with my little guys i use to nanny, aiden and coleton.
it has been two years, kids grow so fast!
i was so excited to see them.
also drew captured this preshous picture of them sleeping.
and then for good measure we found a canadian flag on the way out.
canada is what reunited us after all :]

palmyra.

 second stop of the journey.
palmyra new york.
it was both of our first times.
and better yet drew has family there!
so we got to see the temple.
 a beautiful meadow behind it.
 joseph smith's cabin.
 the sacred grove.
it was so amazing.
oh and this is the cute bed and breakfast we stayed in :]
also i saw this half and half leaf!
fall is coming.
hill cumorah.
this was a really great experiance for us.
we are so blessed.

new york.

so our travels begin.
we left virginia early saturday morning.
jam-packed our car full of our belongings and headed on our way.
first stop new jersey.
it was really neat we got to see new york city from a distance.
it's behind if you will. haha
see the tower to the left!
 they had a 911 monument.
we really liked it.
 also note the beautiful skies.
 statue of liberty from behind.
closer then i've ever been!
and drew jumped a fence to touch the atlantic ocean :]

birthday boy.

so we had a crazy last couple of weeks.
but one of the main events was drew turning 24!
we celebrated the day before and drove all of the 11th his actual birthday.
cutest husband.
hehe i got to be a sneaky wife and decorate while he was at work.
i even made him blow out candles.
did i mention in my family we get quite excited about birthdays.
he obtained a pack pack, socks, razors and treats.
 then we went to dinner.
and after which our last night in reston, va.
we really had a wonderful time in virginia.
and hopefully drew had a good birthday too :]

noah.

now that we are home!!
you might ask me what i will miss most about virginia.
this little man, hands down :]
i loved where we lived and what were able to see,
but being a part of his life is what i will value the most.

august.
